Iranian films to screen at Cali film festival

A lineup of popular Iranian movies has been selected to screen at a film festival in the US state of California.

The 2nd annual Celebration of Iranian Cinema in the city of Irvine, Orange County, will host a series of films from Iran on August 25-27, 2017.

Films to be screened include ‘Life and a Day’, ‘Starless Dreams’, ‘Hey, Humans’, ‘Breath’ and ‘Daughter’.

The event will be held at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

All films will be shown in their original Farsi language with English subtitles.

The film festival is being held in collaboration with the Jordan Center for Persian Studies, UCI.

Co-presenter of the event is the UCLA Film & Televisions Archives.
